These are unforeseen circumstances to have led to the release of my fifth album. But the absolute necessary circumstances to do so. So here I sit, presenting it to you in its entirety. With joy and with gratitude, here is Outtakes Vol. 2. This one is for Africa.

What’s going on in Africa, specifically Nigeria, has broken me. The outcry to stop the senseless violence is one all too familiar to black people all over the globe. With that being said, I must recognize these cries and act in any way I can to end the nightmares that haunt so many. This album, I release in partnership with Bandcamp during their Friday Revenue Share. 100% of this project’s proceeds will go to the Assata Collective, a mutual aid fund raising money to help queer and transgender Nigerians who have faced abuse and are losing their lives due to the fight against SARS.

My entire team at ILLA Propper Music Group are determined to lend our voices and platforms to bring awareness to these devastating times across not just Nigeria, but the entirety of Africa. Africa is bleeding.
