"With his second extended play, self produced under his alias Apparattus, Justin Daxt Bobbs draws influence from soul, jazz, and singer/songwriter to reinvent the concept album as he meditates upon love in his newest Heart Of Glass project, "Cuz My Luv Was In There". Upending the genre of love songs, this album is a complex synthesis of the stages of love, from euphoria to grief. From a position of radical vulnerability and a novel perspective, The Heart Of Glass is a versatile singer-songwriter. Using a multitude of poetic devices and voices, this album is a collaboration between Glass's multitudes, coming together to build a portrait of the man he is, and the world he sees. The songs flow together, guiding the listener through the narrative. To listen to this album is to journey through the psyche of love."
